I grew up having to “make do” with the little that we had, which made me a master of weaving together a beautiful story with pretty much no resources. Being an English major for so many years honed my research skills, making it even easier to figure out the “how” of any project when presented with only a basic idea.
I’ve had years of practicing how to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, so bridging that with my deep love for visual art, culture, and social justice is a no brainer. My life experiences make me a versatile and effective writer, researcher, and project manager, but more than anything, they make me genuinely invested in helping people tell the stories they’d like to see in the world.
